UBU Youth Project Worker

NTDC invites applications for a UBU Youth Project Worker for the Roscrea Youth Service

The successful candidate must meet the criteria of the job specification including:

· At least a Level 8 professional qualification (e.g., youth work, psychology, community development, social care) approved by CORU or other relevant registration body. (Note, candidates with exceptional youth work practice experience may also be considered in lieu of degree qualification)

· At least 2 years paid experience in a Youth Work

· Experience working with 10–24-year-olds.

· Direct experience of working with at risk youths

· Access to own car and full driver’s license

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Part -time position – working 21 hours per week. The role is initially a fixed term contract 31.10.2026

The salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience based on a salary scale of €35,665 – €54,256, full- time 35-hour week and salary prorated to the number of hours worked i.e. 21.
