EDUCATION OFFICER (PART-TIME) Ascend Domestic Abuse Service (NTDC)
Location: Nenagh, Co. Tipperary (serving North Tipperary)
Hours: 14 hours per week
Contract: Fixed-term to 31st December 2026 (subject to funding)
Ascend Domestic Abuse Service is recruiting a Part-Time Education Officer to deliver community-based domestic abuse education, prevention and awareness programmes across North Tipperary.
The Role
- Facilitate community groups and workshops
- Deliver domestic abuse awareness and prevention education
- Work collaboratively with community groups and partner agencies
- Ensure all education work is trauma-informed and survivor-centred
Essential Requirements
- Experience facilitating community groups or educational workshops
- Knowledge of domestic abuse and coercive control
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- Access to own transport
- Garda Vetting required
Desirable
- Relevant qualification or equivalent experience
- Training in Own My Life, Safe and Together, or Circles of Safety
