The successful candidates will have:
- · Minimum FETAC level 5 in childcare
- · A minimum of 1 year’s paid experience working in a professional childcare setting.
- · An enthusiastic attitude and a caring disposition towards children.
- · Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Salary: The six-point Salary Scale for Childcare Assistants is €27,663 – €35,914

Ascend Domestic Abuse Service for Women, North Tipperary
Play Specialist – Part Time
NTDC invites applications for a Play Specialist, The post holder will work to address the needs of children who have been living with domestic abuse. They will work primarily with children under 13years of age. They will work in partnership with mothers in addressing their children’s needs and will work collaboratively with other agencies as and when appropriate. The successful candidate will work with children individually and in small groups as appropriate to their needs.
The successful candidate will have:
· A recognised third level qualification in a related field, and
· At least 3 years’ relevant experience working in a counselling/social care setting with children
· Full driving license and IT skills
· Garda vetting will apply to this post
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Part-time position – working 21 hours per week.
The is initially a fixed term contract until 31st December 2026 and is subject to continued need for the service and funding availability.
SALARY
The salary scale for this role will be from €41k- €60k (pro rata) commensurate with experience and qualifications.
