Roscrea’s new Enterprise, Education and Community Hub
The long-awaited Roscrea Enterprise and Community Hub (REACH) was officially opened on Tuesday 2 September. With North Tipperary Development Company as Lead Partner, the project received over €2.3 million from the Department of Rural & Community Development through the Departments Rural Regeneration and Development Fund. The project also received over €800,000 from Tipperary County Council. Chairperson of North Tipperary Development Company Monica McElvaney states that “NTDC have been involved in the project since 2019, when NTDC submitted the original funding application to the Department. It is a great example of agency collaboration and town centre revitalisation as the project is located in the town centre and the previously vacant Tesco building has been re purposed into a vibrant enterprise, educational and community hub”.
