The Work Readiness Action of North Tipperary Development Company’s, Social Inclusion Community Activation Programme (SICAP), supports individuals by lowering the barriers that prevent people from taking up work and improving the quality of their current employment status.
Some training opportunities under Work Readiness supports are in areas such as safe pass, manual handling, food safety, patient moving & handling, and much more depending on our clients needs and goals. Additional supports of this action are accessing individual grant aid which has in the past given some clients access to online and classroom based training in many areas such as Childcare training, Leadership and management skills, Front line office skills. Please be advised all training is based on our clients goals.
As training and gatherings have been postponed until further notice to slow down the spread of the Coronavirus, social distancing is important in helping slow the spread.
It does this by minimising contact between potentially infected individuals. So as to protect our clients and our families, face to face contact has ceased and one to one meetings for this action has been postponed until further notice, however email and phone contact is still in operation.
